The friendliest club in town is not just about golf!
Burrum District Golf Club, also known as the Howard Golf Club, is a great friendly country golf course. The course is 5727 metres in length, with a Par 70 for the gents and a Par 72 for the ladies. Nine greens with extra tees make a complete 18 hole course which is great for both social and competitive players.
An assortment of sand bunkers, dams and a few narrow tree lined fairways provide a challenging and interesting experience. The course is generally flat, ideal for walking or motorised carts.
Come and try your hand on Fridays 9-hole chook runs at 9 am and 2.30pm. No Handicap needed. Great day for new players, visitors, experienced players and social players.
Visitors are also welcomed to join our other competitions, although some prizes may be members only on certain days.
We would love you to call in, say hello, have a cold drink or a snack, a play on the pokies – or perhaps even a game of golf.
The format of the competition is now a 9-hole event. Generally, stableford. The group is encouraging new players and beginners to come along. For further
Social players are always welcome. Even on competition days we will still be able to accommodate you. The only exception would be when we are holding an annual event.
You can always check with the clubhouse by phoning 0481568296 Remember the clubhouse has limited hours but you can use the honesty box. Make sure you fill in the receipt.
The clubhouse is open with Covid Safe rules.
