Interest this year was over the top with us turning away over twenty potential players from other clubs in the district. As it was we fielded seventy players(three failed to appear on the morning)on Tuesday 26th July being two groups to each of our nine holes.

The course was in pristine condition with only the bunker on the fifth green out of play due to moisture.

Hats off to all contestants for getting around the track in very good time with few hold ups.

Most sat down to a quality lunch followed by the raffle and then the main presentations.

It was gratifying to see many of our visitors winning both raffles and major golf prizes this year.
